DeSales Fall Classic 2011

A great time was had by all who attended as DeSales Community Housing Corporation hosted its annual fundraising event, the “DeSales Fall Classic - A Night Out for Neighborhoods”. The event was at Third Degree Glass Factory, 5200 Delmar Boulevard in the Central West End on Friday, October 14, 2011. Guest enjoyed appetizers from Two Mikes Catering, an open bar and live glass blowing demonstrations by the talented artist of the Third Degree Glass Factory. Many of Third Degree’s glass creations were on display during the event.
The DeSales Fall Classic was open to all members of the St. Louis community. More than 100 people attended and bid on some exciting silent auction items. Some of the items to choose from included Cardinals tickets, Peabody Opera House tickets, a hand knitted wrap, a night at Hotel Ignacio and many more items donated by area businesses and friends. DeSales would like to thank everyone for their contributions and for making this year’s auction a success.
All proceeds will benefit DeSales Community Housing Corporation, a non-profit organization formed in 1976 to promote investment and revitalization in St. Louis neighborhoods. The organization focuses in four main areas: housing development, property management, technical assistance, and neighborhood improvement. It operates in Fox Park, Tower Grove East, Botanical Heights, Carondelet, and The Ville neighborhoods.
Since 2006, DeSales has established working relationships with non-profits in neighborhoods that include Botanical Heights, The Ville and Carondelet. The biggest concentrations of DeSales’ properties are in South City, near the DeSales office at 2759 Russell Boulevard.

DeSales Community Housing Corporation will present its Fall Classic - A Night Out For Neighborhoods, on Friday October 14, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Third Degree Glass Factory, 5200 Delmar Blvd.
In addition to appetizers from Two Mikes Catering, guest will enjoy an open bar and live glass blowing demonstrations by the talented artists of Third Degree.
A silent auction of unique items donated by local businesses will begin at 6 p.m.
This business casual event is open to all members of the St. Louis community.
